Boston check-in post
Apr. 16th, 2013 08:57 amWe are OK, and everybody who we know are OK.
One guy from my husband's work was going to run, but decided not to.
Our friend used to run it every year when he lived in Boston, and I tried to watch it on the streets with my kids when I could, on Commonwealth st. in Newton, and my mom on Beacon st. in Brookline, couple of miles off the finish.
It was always such a festive, happy event.
Such a terrible, senseless thing to happen. I hope it's over and they catch whomever did that, and that no more of it happens at other events. Please stay safe.
